Bark2School is a fully qualified, insured family run business offering a full range of pet care services. Our aim is to offer owners and their pets flexibility and continuity. We tailor our services to suit the needs of the owners and their pets.

All our pet services come with an Initial Consultation Visit.

This initial consultation visit is free of charge and it enables you and your dog/pets to meet us to discuss the care/services that you require from us. At this meeting we may ask to go out for a walk with your dog which will help us get to know their character and personality.

At the visit we will go through the paperwork which includes completion of a Pet Registration Form, Veterinary Release forms and Contract. The visit also gives us the opportunity of discussing the areas of security within your home.

Our Range of Services

Dog Walking

If you are out at work during the day or going somewhere you can't take your dog, Bark2School dog walking service provides a welcome break for your dog.

Our services include travel to and from your home, collecting your dog in our fully insured/equipped vehicle and transporting them to local parks & beaches.

Wherever possible we try to vary where we walk your dog to provide additional stimulation and interest.

Unless otherwise discussed, your dog may at times be walked with other friendly dogs, to provide an opportunity for play and positive socialisation. From our experience, we have found this makes the walks fun and enjoyable, helping your dog to relax and settle once back at home.

Pet Sitting / boarding

We provide a professional and reliable pet sitting / boarding service designed to provide you with the confidence and peace of mind that your pet is being looked after whilst you are away.

Bark2School have facilities for taking care of dogs, cats and other small animals for part days, whole days or for longer periods.

Dog Home Boarding

We recognise that dogs are social animals and need the company of people and other animals.

For this reason Bark2School offers an individual 'home from home' boarding service for your dog when you go on holiday.

Your dog will stay with us in our own home and be treated as one of the family.

For some dogs the change in routine when owners go on holiday can be unsettling and even stressful, so whilst your dog is staying with us we aim to maintain your dog's daily routine as much as possible.

We advise owners to bring their dogs own bedding so that they have the reassurance of familiar smells and we will maintain the same feeding schedule (and diet).

Plenty of love and attention will be given to your dog and regular physical and mental stimulation, to ensure they remain happy and relaxed in our home. For many owners this offers peace of mind whilst they are on holiday, that their dogs are settled and happy, and can often be a better alternative to kennels.

Doggy Day Crèche

Do you have to work long hours each day?

Does your dog become worried or anxious when left alone?

Have you a new puppy and are keen not to leave them for long periods of time?

Are you trying to teach your puppy to be housetrained and don't want to leave them alone?

If yes to these questions then our Doggy Day crèche may be the answer.

Bark2School offers a day care service in which your dog spends the day with us. We provide a collection and drop off service or alternatively you can drop your pet off at our home.

During the day we maintain your feeding schedule and provide two walks (minimum of ½ hour per walk- depending on the dog's needs, could be longer) to a variety of locations. This provides your dogs with mental stimulation and physical exercise allowing them to feel calm and relaxed throughout the day.

Home Care for Cats

Unlike dogs, cats are a territorial species and do not like to be moved around. They miss the familiarity of home and could possible find time in a cattery stressful.

Using our friendly caring Home Care Service we can continue to help your cat remain at home, in their own familiar surroundings, and still receive all the care and attention they need.

We can visit your home as many times as you wish in the day whilst you are away. Our service fits around your you and your cat's needs and requirements.

Your cat will be fed and watered with the litter trays cleaned out and re-filled as necessary. After all, we all know how cats like things kept clean!! But most importantly your cats will get the pampering, fuss and attention they know they deserve.

Security

For many owners our pet sitting service also has the advantage that we can ensure that your home remains secure and allows us to complete other jobs for you such as bringing in post, watering your plants, turning lights on/off, closing curtains, bringing in/putting out dustbins etc.
